This Thursday the MESA class once again went to the Tin Mountain Conservation Center. As usual when we got there Dr. Cline and Lily were waiting for us to do some Thursday afternoon yoga. Yoga really helps you get limber and relaxed for the day. When we were finished with yoga Dr.Cline showed us a presentation on a slide show, I think it was his shortest one he ever gave us,It was about how we have trees that don't naturally grow here. While we had our break we got ready to go look at vernal pools around the forest, when we were outside we split into two groups so that we could move a little faster. With my group, we made our way to the first vernal pool. We found thousands of salamander, wood frog and mosquito eggs. These are the only type of eggs that we found the entire day. My favorite part was getting to hold them.
