Up close and personal as we've ever been to nature

There has never been a time I can think of in which any MOMS student, MESA or not, has been this close to wildlife. Tin Mountain came to town and took the MESA students down into the intervale by the Saco. This provided a great place for MESA to net some birds and learn about the process of banding. Yellow throat warblers, Bobolinks, and many other birds were seen up close. This was a nice peaceful getaway after spending most of the morning with standardized testing.
