It always comes back to succession

TMCC was visited by the Maine Environmental Science Academy (MESA) today. Acting much more than just a community partner, TMCC meets with MESA once a week: sometimes at the Center, sometimes at East Bear Paw, or sometimes at school to provide curriculum that enhances what is being taught in the classroom. Today the focus was on what Dr. Cline calls the most important thing students will ever learn, forest succession. After a lecture, the students were broken up into groups and played a fun interactive card game (one that these middle school students want to play again!).
