Tin Mountain...we were "In-Clined" to go

On a very snowy day, MESA traveled by bus, thanks Fred, to the Tin Mountain Conservation Center in Albany, NH. Once we got there, Dr. Cline wasted no time in getting the students settled for their exam. He reviewed what had been covered, leaving no questions unanswered.

The students worked furiously on the test, while the adults ate an incredible concoction from Mrs. Barry, a vanilla peach cobbler. Notice, there are no pictures as it did not last long.

After the test and a quick snack, we were off to the woods and pond. There was a steady stream of snow on a balmy 26 degree day. Students were fitted with snow shoes in order to make the trek a little easier. From the pond we split up into three groups and each group was able to get a unique experience from its guide.

Next week, Big Mike is away and Mrs. Frankel will be taking over the helm. Students will be making an inventory of the pond at the center.
