On January 25th, MESA travelled to Madison Boulder to meet with Mike Dufilho of Tin Mountain Conservation Center. The students were wrapping up their unit on geology and orogeny. Students built some mountains in order to explore the role glaciers played in our topography.  Then we hiked into North America's largest glacial erratic.
