On Thursday, May 15th, MESA biked their way to Swans Falls with a very special delivery. The brook trout that had been part of our MESA home were released into the Saco. The trout were part of Poland Spring's Brookie Buddies program, in which Poland Spring visited MESA and educated the students and staff about the importance of clean water, as well as the development of brook trout. Students monitored the fish daily.

While at Swans Falls, MESA students met some students of Fryeburg Academy, along with Mr. Leavitt and MR. Rhymer. The Academy students gave presentations about brook trout. It was also a nice surprise to see not just one, but TWO reporters from the Conway Daily Sun.
