Hard to think we could top Kezar Falls Gorge. Then we go and have a great time at Pietree. Hard to believe the weather continue to out do itself for an incredible day on the river. Dr. Cline and Lori Kinsey from Tin Mountain were there. Terms any MESA student should know are confluence, erosion, and riparian zone.

The river was low. The day did turn into a giant canoe skills challenge. Just about everyone got stuck once. In the end, one could say it was more of a day about realizing that we are all in the same boat and we need to work together. Mrs Barry did a great job grouping the students in a manner that students were forced outside their social circles.
