Will Galligan- On Friday October,16 MESA (Maine Environmental Science Academy) went to the cranberry bog in Lovell with GLLT and Tom Henderson. When we got there we talked about all the endangered species. There are 8-10 endangered species. In the end it was a top ten trip for sure and everybody had a good time picking cranberries.

Maddison Lavertu-Foreman- We went to Lovewell’s Pond.  We biked 3 1/2 miles there and 3 1/2 miles back.  We also walked about 1/2 mile to a mile that day.  We identified lots of trees by looking at the margins, bark and sinuses.  A cool fact that Dr.Cline showed us is that if you rub the lenticels on a pin cherry they will turn orange.  At the end of the day we rode back to school.  It was a very tiring day.

This bus rocks!
