On Thursday September 10th MESA (Maine Environmental Science Academy) went to TMCC (Tin Mountain Conservation Center) and while we were there the sixth graders met the brilliant Dr.Cline. While at TMCC we learned about different kinds of leaves and the difference between excurrent and decurrent. For the 7th and 8th graders this was a review. Dr.Cline also talked about alternate and opposite branching. After we got back to school Mr.Oliver reviewed everything we learned and told us his expectations for what the 6th, 7th, and 8th graders must know. |
