The MESA students and teacher journeyed to the Tin Mountain Conservation Center in Albany, New Hampshire. While there, students were given a lesson by Mrs. Frankel in limnology, the study of the physical and chemical aspects of freshwater.

From there, students took part in an interactive hands on demonstration about the various aspects of freshwater and how it can be impacted by Mother Nature and mankind. For the next eight weeks, students will be taking part of role playing scenario as we explore the topic further.
