Kidnapping For a Good Cause

So, I knew the sunrise was at a lazy 7:14am.  Anyone can make that? Right? Well, certainly not my wife and kid who were still sleeping.

So, I wanted to share the sunrise with someone and knew Marcos and Luna get to school way early. I knew they would be more than up to the task and would appreciate the moment. They would fully understand and welcome the sun as it came up between Pleasant Mountain and Lovewell Pond as we would stand on top of Jockey Cap.

So, I waited at the school entrance and ran to their car as it pulled up. Their mom, Rebecca, fully endorsed the decision and told me to run them up Jockey Cap.

So, if we can make each day memorable for our students. If we can teach them these lessons, our hope is they will make their daily lives memorable and meaningful.
