Huge thanks to Joe Riddensdale

MESA travelled to Kennett High School to visit a teacher who was willing to spend his planning period his our students. Huge thanks to Mr. Riddensdale for frying our MESA students' brains. Our circuits were certainly overloaded.

MESA students were tasked with programming a robot to travel from one end of table to another while making a series of turns. Students were placed in groups, shown some basics steps, and then they did not make a sound for almost an hour. They did not even ask for lunch (aside from one'd never guess who;-) The teachers were given the same set of instructions. Hats off to Mrs. Barry and Mrs. Lewey for producing the first and only robot to successfully manage the course.*

Kennett 11/5 Mr. Riddensdale

* Yes. Our robot was disqualified by Mr. Riddensdale for touching the line, but we have filed the necessary paperwork for an appeal and our win counts until the Northern Oceanic Technology Teachers Ruling Union Establishment has a ruling for the matter and a date for that hearing has yet to be scheduled.
