The world will little note nor long remember anything I say here, but it can never forget what those MESA students did there last night. I am stunned. Still trying to process how amazing each performance was.  Each one of our students who performed deserves the utmost recognition and respect for their respective performances.

I am speechless, which takes a lot. In the words of Ari: Last night there was an exciting event that MESA held.  15 individuals memorized and recited the Gettysburg address in front of family and community members. It was in the form of a competition. There were four winners that were graded on accuracy, clarity and stage presence.  The third place winner was Alfie Walker. Second place was a tie of Luke Flanders and Colby Bridges. The first place winner was Angus Bott. MESA wants to thank the following judges: Mr. Mallon, Mr. Robinson and Emily Gillette from Bridgeton News. MESA would again like to thank all of the participants of this competition.

Gettysburg, the evening

Yes, Lucy. You are there twice.
