Enough with the practice, MESA gets to the doing

This week, MESA finished building 4 trail bridges at Tin Mountain's Bear Paw forest. This project was an exceptional way for students to design, plan and carry out a multidisciplinary approach to learning. Many building concepts, engineering and math were involved, not to mention sweat equity, as well as black fly swatting! Students worked so well in their teams and should be proud of the excellent job they did contributing to their community. These trails are enjoyed by the public for walking, running and biking, so go check them out! Bear Paw forest is located on Rt 302 just across from State Line Store. Look for the big Black Bear on the gate!
Big thanks go out to Phil of Bryant Pond.
