On a pretty winter day, MESA was thinking spring. In an effort to seek out community service projects with an environmental component,  Scott Lindsay of the Department of IFW came for a snowshoe walk to see if there could be a sustainable trail built to Indian Head Point Beach to increase access and create an educational walking trail. We spoke of the mixed hardwood stands, saw coyote tracks and smelled coyote urine (Scott did, we passed), spied five or six eagles, and caught a great sunset.
