Saphound Maple Company came to MESA today to help us better understand why maple trees produce sap, what the conditions need to be to tap, and what would be some variables that we could measure that would affect sap production. MESA will be continuing working with Saphound, as we will be actually tapping and collecting sap. This is all part of a larger picture, as we look at a long term phrenology study.  |
