Behind the Scenes at the Fair

Can't keep up with Mrs. Barry or Mrs. Lewey. They take a picture and seconds later it's up on the MESA Facebook page. They're amazing.

MESA invaded the fair because if you stop and think about it, it's a fountain of knowledge. Pretty hard to find in these parts a conglomeration of so many intelligent people on packed together in a 25 acres or so. Geologists? Foresters? Livestock experts? Entrepreneurs? And, I am sure I am missing something.

I gotta call out Vinny of Sunflower Pizza. Not only does he make arguably the best pizza and lemonade at the fair, he is just straight awesome with our students. Running his corner at the fair is incredibly demanding, but he takes the time and talks with our students like it is his job, not mine. My hat is off to you, Vinny. Thanks.

Also, thanks to the Fryeburg Rescue for supplying MESA with some sweet bike helmets, as well as great bike helmet awareness. If you do not know, bike helmets have a shelf life of 5 years. After that, they should be disposed of. So, MESA, with the help of Fryeburg Rescue, is making sure your child's noodle is protected.
