Experiential Learning with Tin Mountain

MESA travelled to Tin Mountain to further their knowledge about the winter adaptations of animals that live in wetlands, as well as to sharpen our winter tracking skills. It was a chilly day and we had just received our first significant snowfall. Students saw otter, snowshoe hare, vole, squirrel, deer, and 6th grader. After the day was done and we drove back to MOMS, the students had a listening quiz to see how well they did in an experiential setting.
